20Still another said, ‘I just got married, so I cannot come.’
21The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’
22‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.’
23Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.’
24I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will taste my banquet.
35The next day, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.'

9'Then the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ And humiliated, you will have to take the least important place.'
10'But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests.'
15Then the prophet said to him, 'Come home with me and eat some food.'
32but no stranger had to spend the night in the street, for my door was always open to the traveler—
36'Send the people away so that they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.'
13But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Didn't you agree to work for a denarius?'
11Say to the owner of the house, 'The Teacher asks, Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"
17And he thought to himself, saying, 'What shall I do, for I have no place to store my crops?'

3The manager said to himself, 'What shall I do, since my master is taking away my position? I am not strong enough to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.'
4'I know what I will do so that, when I am removed from my position, people will welcome me into their homes.'
5So he called in each one of his master's debtors. He asked the first, 'How much do you owe my master?'
35Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you out without a money bag, a traveling bag, or sandals, did you lack anything?" They replied, "Nothing."

16He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
17But when he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have more than enough bread, but here I am dying from hunger!
