46the master of that servant will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not know. He will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the unfaithful.
8Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding banquet is ready, but those invited were not worthy.'
10So those servants went out into the roads and gathered all they found, both good and bad. The wedding hall was filled with guests.
11But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.
12He said to him, 'Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless.
13Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him out into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
44Then they too will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not serve you?’
24Then the servant who had received one talent came and said, ‘Master, I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
35Therefore, stay alert, because you do not know when the master of the house will come—whether in the evening, at midnight, when the rooster crows, or at dawn.
36Otherwise, when he comes suddenly, he may find you sleeping.
20Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with them, and they with me.
48But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, 'My master is staying away a long time,'
