65For the Lord had said of them, 'They will surely die in the wilderness.' Not one of them survived except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
12To the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said:
13“Remember the command that Moses, the servant of the LORD, gave you when he said: ‘The LORD your God will give you rest and will give you this land.’
23Then the LORD gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: 'Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I swore to them, and I will be with you.'
14He replied, "Neither," he said. "I am the commander of the LORD’s army. Now I have come." Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence and asked, "What message does my Lord have for His servant?"
10So Joshua did as Moses had said to him and fought against Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

41But Moses said, 'Why are you disobeying the LORD's command? This will not succeed.
2He said to them, 'I am now 120 years old, and I am no longer able to lead you. The LORD has said to me, 'You shall not cross the Jordan.''
30Not one of you will enter the land I swore by uplifted hand to settle you in, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
