He said to them, 'I am now 120 years old, and I am no longer able to lead you. The LORD has said to me, 'You shall not cross the Jordan.''

27‘Go up to the top of Pisgah and look west, north, south, and east. See it with your eyes, for you will not cross the Jordan.’
28‘Charge Joshua and encourage him, for he will lead this people across and enable them to inherit the land that you will see.’

49Go up to this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, across from Jericho. View the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites as a possession.
14Now behold, I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls that not one word has failed of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you. All of them have been fulfilled for you; not one word has failed.
3So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke to them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan River near Jericho, saying,
18I declare to you today that you shall surely perish and will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
52You will see the land from a distance, but you will not enter the land that I am giving to the Israelites.
21'I will no longer drive out before them any of the nations that Joshua left when he died.'
16The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:
2Isaac said, 'See now, I have grown old, and I do not know the day of my death.'
31For you are about to cross the Jordan to enter and possess the land the LORD your God is giving you. You will take possession of it and live in it.

16The LORD said to Moses, 'Behold, you are going to rest with your ancestors, and this people will rise up and prostitute themselves to the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake me and break the covenant I made with them.'
29as the descendants of Esau who live in Seir and the Moabites who live in Ar did for me—until I cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD our God is giving us.'
30But he replied to him, "I will not go; I am going back to my own land and to my relatives."
17the LORD spoke to me, saying,
18'Today you are to cross the border of Moab at Ar.
34The king said to Barzillai, "Cross over with me, and I will provide for you in Jerusalem."
