  • 25 Then Joshua said to them, 'Do not be afraid or discouraged. Be strong and courageous, for this is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you fight against.'

  • 7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They said, "We will do everything the LORD has said; we will obey."

  • 27 On that day, Joshua made them woodcutters and water carriers for the assembly and for the altar of the LORD at the place He would choose. And they continue to do so to this day.

  • 6 They went to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal and said to him and the men of Israel: “We have come from a distant land; now make a treaty with us.”

  • 21 'I will no longer drive out before them any of the nations that Joshua left when he died.'
