    1The sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad had a very large amount of livestock. When they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, they noticed that the place was suitable for livestock.

    2The sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, Eleazar the priest, and the leaders of the congregation, saying:

  • 39And the little ones you said would be taken as plunder—your children who do not yet know good from evil—they will enter the land. I will give it to them, and they will take possession of it.

  • 24Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, "Go, worship the LORD. Only your flocks and herds must stay behind. Even your women and children may go with you."
