9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.
17And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.
21For although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22Claiming to be wise, they became fools.
10These people speak abusively about what they do not understand, and what they do understand by instinct—like unreasoning animals—these are the very things that destroy them.
2For I know your eagerness, which I boast about on your behalf to the Macedonians, saying that Achaia has been prepared since last year. And your zeal has stirred up many others.
9What then? Are we any better? Not at all. For we have already charged that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.
13For even those who are circumcised do not keep the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised so they can boast about your flesh.
17Now you, if you call yourself a Jew, and rely on the law and boast in God,
18and know His will and approve things that are excellent, being instructed from the law,
11Again I ask, did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Certainly not! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.
34Wake up righteously, and do not sin, for some are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.
18They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts.
