15In those days I saw people in Judah treading wine presses on the Sabbath, bringing in sheaves, and loading donkeys, as well as bringing in wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of burdens into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. And I warned them on the day they sold provisions.
16Men of Tyre also lived there, who brought in fish and all kinds of goods, and sold them on the Sabbath to the children of Judah and in Jerusalem.
11So I contended with the rulers, and said, Why has the house of God been forsaken? And I gathered them together and placed them in their stations.
20And say to them, Hear the word of the LORD, you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates:
21Thus says the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;
22Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do any work, but hallow the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
24And it shall come to pass, if you diligently listen to me, says the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
27But if you will not listen to me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
8You have despised My holy things, and have profaned My sabbaths.
6And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words.
7Then I consulted with myself and rebuked the nobles and rulers, and said to them, You are charging interest, each one from his brother. And I called a great assembly against them.
8And I said to them, According to our ability, we have redeemed our fellow Jews who were sold to the nations; and will you even sell your brethren, or should they be sold to us? Then they were silent and found nothing to answer.
9Also I said, What you are doing is not good. Should you not walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the nations, our enemies?
26Her priests have violated My law, and have profaned My holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and unholy, neither have they shown difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
38Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary on the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.
13If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the LORD, honorable; and shall honor him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words:
12But you have profaned it, in that you say, The table of the LORD is defiled; and its produce, even its food, is contemptible.
13You said also, Behold, what a weariness it is! and you have sneered at it, says the LORD of hosts; and you brought what was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus you brought an offering: should I accept this from your hand? says the LORD.
17Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
7You offer defiled bread upon my altar; and you say, How have we polluted you? In that you say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
8Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9Thus says the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
25So I contended with them and cursed them, struck some of them and pulled out their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, You shall not give your daughters as wives to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons or yourselves.
14Moreover, all the leaders of the priests and the people transgressed greatly after all the abominations of the nations, and polluted the house of the LORD which he had sanctified in Jerusalem.
17You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say, How have we wearied him? When you say, Everyone that does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them; or, Where is the God of justice?
7and I came to Jerusalem and discovered the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah by preparing a room for him in the courts of the house of God.
14And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, and said to the people, There are six days on which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.
13Your words have been harsh against me, says the LORD. Yet you say, 'What have we spoken against you?'.
6Then the LORD said to me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.
7For I earnestly protested to your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
9And the LORD said to me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
17Then I said to them, You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come, let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.

29Why will you plead with me? you all have transgressed against me, says the LORD.
13But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they did not walk in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man does, he shall even live in them; and they greatly polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
31And if the people of the land bring goods or any food on the Sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it from them on the Sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would forgo the seventh year and the exaction of every debt.
16Because they despised my judgments, and did not walk in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.
19Will you profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people who hear your lies?
16And I will utter My judgments against them concerning all their wickedness, who have forsaken Me, and have burned incense to other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
11Concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear the word of the LORD;
5Or have you not read in the law, how on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are guiltless?
15And I am very displeased with the nations at ease; for I was a little angry, and they helped forward the affliction.
29Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood and the covenant of the priesthood and the Levites.
17Then he said to me, Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
9Then I gave orders, and they cleansed the rooms; and I brought back into them the vessels of the house of God, along with the grain offerings and the frankincense.
