7Then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for My name, I will cast out of My sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:
18Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
7What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
8According as it is written, God has given them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear, to this day.
11And the LORD said to Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be before they believe me, for all the signs which I have shown among them?
25As He says also in Hosea, I will call them My people, who were not My people; and her beloved, who was not beloved.
26And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them, You are not My people, there they shall be called the children of the living God.
10Therefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They always go astray in their heart; and they have not known My ways.
11Has a nation changed their gods, which are not gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.
27For was not Israel a derision to you? Was he found among thieves? For whenever you spoke of him, you skipped for joy.

21Therefore the LORD heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;

10Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
