• Acts 20:30 : 30 Even from among your own group, men will rise up, speaking twisted things to draw away the disciples to follow them.
• Rom 3:13-14 : 13 "Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit." "The venom of vipers is under their lips." 14 Their mouths are full of curses and bitterness.
• Rom 16:17-18 : 17 Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.
• 2 Cor 11:13-15 : 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be according to their deeds.
• Eph 5:3-4 : 3 But sexual immorality, all impurity, or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper for saints. 4 Nor should there be filthiness, foolish talk, or crude joking, which are not fitting, but rather thanksgiving.
• Deut 13:6 : 6 But that prophet or dreamer must be put to death, because he encouraged rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, to lead you away from the path the LORD your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.
