37I will take you, and you will reign over all that your heart desires, and you will be king over Israel.
38If you listen to all that I command you and walk in My ways, doing what is right in My eyes by keeping My statutes and commands, as My servant David did, then I will be with you. I will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you.
39I will humble David’s descendants because of this, but not forever.

10and as they have done since the time I appointed judges over my people Israel. I will subdue all your enemies. Furthermore, I declare to you that the LORD himself will build a house for you.
11When your days are fulfilled and you go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
35You are to go up with him, and he is to sit on my throne and reign in my place. I have appointed him ruler over Israel and Judah.'
17He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves.
14The LORD will raise up a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam. This is the day! What indeed is even now happening!
15But my steadfast love will not depart from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you.
7Now then, tell my servant David: 'This is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people Israel.
4Yet the LORD, the God of Israel, chose me out of all my father's house to be king over Israel forever. He chose Judah as leader, and within the house of Judah, He was pleased to choose my father's family. And among the sons of my father, He was pleased with me to make me king over all Israel.
5Of all my sons—for the LORD has given me many sons—He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the LORD’s kingdom over Israel.

8'I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your arms. I also gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more.
14I will abandon the remnant of My inheritance and give them into the hands of their enemies. They will become plunder and spoil for all their enemies,
16He will give up Israel because of the sins Jeroboam committed and made Israel commit.
11He said, 'This is what the king who will reign over you will demand: He will take your sons and assign them to his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots.
15He will take a tenth of your grain and vineyards and give it to his courtiers and servants.
15And I will cast you out of my presence, just as I cast out all your brothers, the entire offspring of Ephraim.
26then I will reject the descendants of Jacob and my servant David and will not choose one of his descendants to rule over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.
10Because you said, 'These two nations and countries will be ours, and we will take possession of them,' even though the LORD was there,
16'Since the day I brought My people Israel out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city from all the tribes of Israel to build a house where My name might be, but I chose David to rule My people Israel.'
