    15They gathered their fellow Levites, consecrated themselves, and went in as the king commanded, in accordance with the words of the LORD, to purify the house of the LORD.

    16The priests entered the inner part of the house of the LORD to cleanse it. They brought out all the unclean things they found in the temple of the LORD and carried them to the courtyard of the house of the LORD. The Levites then took them and carried them out to the Kidron Valley.

  • 13For Solomon had made a bronze platform, placing it in the middle of the courtyard. It was five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high. He stood on it, knelt on his knees before the entire assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven.
