Every matter must be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses. 2 I have said before, and I am saying again now as though present, even though I am absent, to those who have sinned previously and to all the rest: If I come again, I will not spare anyone.

  • 1 Cor 4:21-5:13 : 21 What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and with a gentle spirit? 1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and a kind of immorality that is not even found among the Gentiles—a man is sleeping with his father’s wife. 2 And you are proud! Shouldn't you rather have mourned so that the one who has done this would be removed from among you? 3 For though I am absent in body, I am present in spirit, and I have already passed judgment on the one who has committed this act, as if I were present. 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, and my spirit is with you, along with the power of our Lord Jesus, 5 hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord. 6 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? 7 Clean out the old yeast so that you may be a new batch of dough, just as you are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8 Therefore, let us celebrate the feast, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people. 10 I did not at all mean the sexually immoral people of this world, or the greedy, or swindlers, or idolaters. In that case, you would have to leave the world. 11 But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral, greedy, an idolater, a slanderer, a drunkard, or a swindler. With such a person, do not even eat. 12 What business is it of mine to judge outsiders? Are you not to judge those inside the church? 13 God will judge those outside. 'Expel the wicked person from among you.'
