    31But Moses called to them, so Aaron and all the leaders of the congregation came back to him, and Moses spoke to them.

    20Moses said to the people, 'Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of Him may be before you to keep you from sinning.'

    21The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

    16The glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day, the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud.

    17The appearance of the LORD's glory was like a consuming fire on the mountaintop in the sight of the Israelites.

    18Moses entered the cloud as he went up the mountain, and he stayed on the mountain for forty days and forty nights.

    27The LORD said to Aaron, 'Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.' So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him.

    28Then Moses told Aaron everything the LORD had said to him and all the signs He had commanded him to perform.

    29Moses and Aaron went and gathered all the elders of the Israelites.

    30Aaron spoke all the words that the LORD had spoken to Moses, and he performed the signs in the sight of the people.
