Pharaoh said, "Lazy! That’s what you are—lazy! That is why you keep saying, 'Let us go and sacrifice to the Lord.'

11 "Go and get your own straw wherever you can find it, but your work will not be reduced at all."
12 So the people scattered all over Egypt to gather stubble to use for straw.
13 The slave drivers kept pressing them, saying, "Complete the work required of you each day, just as when you had straw."
14 And Pharaoh's slave drivers beat the Israelite overseers they had appointed, demanding, "Why haven’t you met your quota of bricks yesterday or today, as before?"
15 Then the Israelite overseers went and appealed to Pharaoh: "Why are you treating your servants this way?"
16 "No straw is given to your servants, yet we are told, 'Make bricks!' Your servants are being beaten, but the fault is with your own people."
13 You say, 'What a burden!' and you sniff at it with contempt, says the LORD of Hosts. When you bring stolen, lame, or sick animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands? says the LORD.
6 Do not follow other gods to serve them or worship them. Do not provoke me to anger with the works of your hands; then I will not bring disaster upon you.'
7 But you have not listened to me, declares the LORD, and you have provoked me to anger with the works of your hands, to your own harm.
17 You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you ask, 'How have we wearied Him?' By saying, 'Everyone who does evil is good in the eyes of the Lord, and He delights in them,' or 'Where is the God of justice?'
21 This is what the LORD says: 'Be careful not to carry any load on the Sabbath day, or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem.'
22 Do not bring any load out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your ancestors.
13 Your words against me have been harsh, says the Lord. But you ask, 'What have we spoken against you?
14 You have said, 'Serving God is futile. What profit is there in keeping his requirements or walking mournfully before the Lord of Hosts?

12 Observe the Sabbath day to keep it holy, as the LORD your God has commanded you.
13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work.
24 But if you diligently obey Me, declares the LORD, and do not bring any load through the gates of this city on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy and do no work on it,
1 Do not be hasty with your mouth, and do not let your heart rush to speak anything before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore, let your words be few.
5 This is what the LORD says: ‘What fault did your ancestors find in me that they strayed so far from me? They pursued worthless idols and became worthless themselves.
13 Is it not from the LORD of Hosts that peoples labor for fire and nations grow weary for nothing?
18 Didn’t your ancestors do the same, so that our God brought all this disaster upon us and upon this city? Now you are stirring up more wrath against Israel by desecrating the Sabbath!"
25 But Moses said, "You must also provide us with sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the LORD our God.
5 What will you do on the day of your appointed festival, on the day of the LORD’s feast?
15 Laziness brings on deep sleep, and a lazy soul will go hungry.
9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
7 By presenting defiled food on my altar. But you ask, 'How have we defiled you?' By saying, 'The LORD's table is contemptible.'
12 They served idols, about which the Lord had said to them, 'You shall not do this thing.'
18 Because of laziness, the roof sinks, and through idle hands, the house leaks.

5 He gathered the priests and Levites and said to them, "Go out to the cities of Judah and collect from all Israel money to repair the house of your God annually. Hurry and do this task." But the Levites did not act quickly.
23 If we have built an altar to turn away from following the LORD, or to offer burnt offerings or grain offerings, or to offer fellowship sacrifices on it, may the LORD Himself call us to account.
17 I struck you—all the work of your hands— with blight, mildew, and hail, but you did not turn to me—this is the declaration of the LORD.
25 Moses answered, "As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the LORD, and the swarms of flies will depart from Pharaoh, his officials, and his people tomorrow. But let Pharaoh not deal deceitfully again by refusing to let the people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD."
13 But if you say, 'We will not stay in this land,' and do not listen to the voice of the LORD your God,
25 On the seventh day, you shall have a sacred assembly. You must not do any regular work.
5 Let it be given to the hands of the workmen who are appointed over the house of the LORD, and they shall use it to pay the workers engaged in the repairs of the house—
