    25Laban caught up with Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the hill country, and Laban and his relatives camped in the hill country of Gilead.

    26Then Laban said to Jacob, 'What have you done? You deceived me and carried off my daughters like captives taken in war.

    27Why did you run away secretly and deceive me? You didn’t even let me know so I could send you away with joy and singing, to the music of tambourines and harps.
