3On the eighth day, the flesh of the boy’s foreskin shall be circumcised.

6When the days of her purification for a son or daughter are completed, she shall bring to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or turtledove for a sin offering, and give them to the priest.

7The priest shall offer them before the LORD and make atonement for her, and she will be clean from the flow of her blood. This is the law for a woman who gives birth to a male or a female.

8But if she cannot afford a lamb, she shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. The priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.
