22Moses returned to the Lord and said, "Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Why did you send me?"
12Moses said to the LORD, 'See, You have been telling me, ‘Lead this people,’ but You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have found favor in My eyes.’
11The LORD said to Moses, "How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, despite all the signs I have performed among them?
10'So now go! I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.'
11But Moses said to God, 'Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?'
12God reassured him, 'I will certainly be with you. And this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.'
21But Moses said, 'Here I am among six hundred thousand men on foot, and You say, ‘I will give them meat to eat for a whole month’?
22Would they have enough if flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? Or if all the fish in the sea were gathered for them, would that be enough?'
23The LORD answered Moses, 'Is the LORD’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.'
27How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of the Israelites, who are murmuring against me.
2So the people quarreled with Moses, saying, "Give us water to drink." Moses replied to them, "Why are you quarreling with me? Why are you testing the LORD?"
3But the people were very thirsty for water there, and they complained against Moses, saying, "Why did you bring us out of Egypt to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?"
4Then Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, "What should I do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me!"
13But Moses said to the LORD, "The Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them.
4'You have seen what I did to Egypt and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself.
3Why is the LORD bringing us to this land only to fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn't it be better for us to return to Egypt?

18You and these people who come to you will surely wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone.
15You provided bread from heaven for their hunger and brought water out of a rock for their thirst. You told them to go in and take possession of the land You had sworn to give them.
11Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people: Where is the one who brought them up out of the sea, along with the shepherds of his flock? Where is the one who set his Holy Spirit among them,
15Moses was very angry and said to the Lord, "Do not accept their offering. I have not taken even a single donkey from them, nor have I wronged any one of them."
8'And I will bring you to the land that I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the LORD.'
9Moses reported this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their discouragement and harsh slavery.

21Then Moses said to Aaron, "What did these people do to you that you led them into such a great sin?"
