5Circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee;
18Was anyone called after being circumcised? Let him not undo his circumcision. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised.
19Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commandments is what matters.
12Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh are the ones compelling you to be circumcised—only so that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13For even those who are circumcised do not keep the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised so they can boast about your flesh.
9What does the worker gain from all their toil?
30What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, that is, a righteousness that is by faith;
15For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but what matters is a new creation.
11Brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? If that were the case, the offense of the cross would be eliminated.
9There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does what is evil, first for the Jew, then also for the Gentile.
10But glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, first for the Jew, then also for the Gentile.
4They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises.
15We are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners,
7But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss because of Christ.
17Now you, if you call yourself a Jew, and rely on the law and boast in God,
10For there are many who are rebellious, idle talkers, and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party.
1So I ask, did God reject His people? Certainly not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
