Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see that good land, which I swore to give to your fathers,

37 Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.
52 Yet you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go there to the land which I give the children of Israel.

26 But the LORD was angry with me for your sakes and would not hear me; and the LORD said to me: Enough! Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.
17 But with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
11 Saying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
17 And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and He shuts up the heaven, so there is no rain, and the land yields no fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD gives you.
