13Consider well her ramparts, observe her palaces; that you may tell it to the generation following.

8For inquire, I pray you, of the former age, and prepare yourself to the search of their fathers:
20And when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is the meaning of the testimonies, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God has commanded you?
25When you beget children, and children's children, and have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a carved image, or the likeness of anything, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD your God, to provoke him to anger:
30A posterity shall serve Him; it will be recounted to the Lord for a generation.
6Yes, you shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.
18What wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hidden it:
29In those days they shall no longer say, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
8The children that are born of them shall enter into the congregation of the LORD in their third generation.
2That you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your grandson, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.
21That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
18Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, do not forsake me, until I have shown your strength to this generation, and your power to everyone that is to come.
20Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
14And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? that you shall say to him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
1Listen, you children, to the instruction of a father, and pay attention to gain understanding.
2Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth: for the LORD has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
8Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and document it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever:
24And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak to our children, saying, What have you to do with the LORD God of Israel?
6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.
