22The whole land will be a burning waste of sulfur and salt, nothing planted, nothing sprouting, no vegetation growing. It will be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in His fierce anger.
17Then the LORD’s anger will burn against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain, and the land will yield no produce. Then you will soon perish from the good land the LORD is giving you.

13So Gad went to David and said to him, "Shall there come seven years of famine in your land? Or shall you flee from your enemies for three months while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days of plague in your land? Now think it over and decide how I should reply to the One who sent me."
21Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged, and looking upward, they will curse their king and their God.
15There the fire will devour you; the sword will cut you down. It will consume you like the young locusts. Multiply yourselves like locusts; increase yourselves like swarming locusts.
25I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten—the young locust, the destroying locust, and the devouring locust—my great army that I sent among you.
37and they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and they repent and plead with You in the land of their captivity, saying, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong, and we have acted wickedly.'
