This day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon all the peoples under the heavens. When they hear reports of you, they will tremble and be in anguish because of you.'

2The LORD said to me: 'Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you along with all his people and his land. Do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.'

23then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations greater and stronger than you.
34But the LORD said to Moses, 'Do not be afraid of him, for I have given him into your hand, along with all his people and his land. Do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.'
15If you put all these people to death as one man, the nations who have heard about your fame will say,
3Moab became very afraid of the people because they were numerous. Moab was overcome with dread because of the Israelites.
24They answered Joshua, 'Your servants were clearly told how the LORD your God had commanded His servant Moses to give you this entire land and destroy all its inhabitants before you. So we feared greatly for our lives because of you, and that is why we did this.'
4And the LORD will do to them as he did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, whom he destroyed.
5The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must act toward them according to the entire commandment I have instructed you.
10The LORD responded, "I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will perform wonders never before done in any nation or all the earth. All the people among whom you live will see the work of the LORD, for it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.
11Observe what I command you today. I am driving out before you the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
38He drove out nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you into their land and to give it to you as an inheritance, as it is today.
10I will cause many peoples to be appalled at you, and their kings will shudder in horror over you when I brandish my sword before them. They will tremble every moment, each for their lives, on the day of your downfall.

7The LORD said to Joshua, 'Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, so that they may know that just as I was with Moses, I will be with you.'
8And the LORD said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them. I have given them into your hand; not one of them will be able to stand against you.”
