    15This is what you shall do to all the cities that are very far from you, which are not part of the cities of these nations.

    16But in the cities of these peoples that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes.

    41But Moses said, 'Why are you disobeying the LORD's command? This will not succeed.

    42Do not go up, because the LORD is not with you; you will be defeated by your enemies.'

    43For the Amalekites and Canaanites are there to confront you, and you will fall by the sword. Because you have turned away from the LORD, He will not be with you.

  • 10But the whole assembly talked about stoning them. Then the glory of the LORD appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites.

  • 10We have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan, whom you completely destroyed.

  • 19He will set you high above all the nations He has made, bringing you praise, fame, and honor. And you will be a holy people to the LORD your God, as He has promised.

  • 27I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.

  • 12Why should the Egyptians say, 'He brought them out with evil intent, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth'? Turn from your burning anger and relent concerning this disaster against your people.

  • 25No one will be able to stand against you; the LORD your God will put the fear and dread of you upon all the land where you set foot, as He has promised you.

  • 15For the LORD your God, who is among you, is a jealous God. His anger will burn against you, and He will destroy you from the face of the earth.

  • 20Like the nations that the Lord is destroying before you, so you will perish if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

  • 10Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation."
