31Moses said, "Please do not leave us, because you know where we should camp in the wilderness, and you will be our eyes.
32If you come with us, we will share with you whatever good things the LORD gives to us."

12God reassured him, 'I will certainly be with you. And this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.'
15For you know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we passed through the nations you encountered on the way.
16You saw their detestable things and idols made of wood, stone, silver, and gold that were among them.
3Go to a land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people, and I might destroy you on the way.
21And I will grant this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that when you leave, you will not go empty-handed.
5They said, "If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not make us cross the Jordan."
3He said, 'My Lord, if I have found favor in Your sight, please do not pass by Your servant.'
15If this is how You are going to treat me, please go ahead and kill me—if I have found favor in Your eyes—and do not let me see my misery.
14'Let my lord go ahead of his servant; I will move at a gentle pace as the livestock and children are able to go until I come to my lord in Seir.'

17Now may the Lord's strength be displayed, just as you have declared:
32'Take your flocks and herds, as you have said, and go. And also bless me.'
23Then I will remove My hand, and you will see My back; but My face must not be seen.'
28Then Moses said, "This is how you will know that the Lord has sent me to do all these things and that it was not my own idea:
9The LORD also said to Moses, "I have seen these people, and behold, they are a stiff-necked people."
11They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
17Please let us pass through your land. We will not pass through any field or vineyard, nor will we drink water from any well. We will travel along the King's Highway and not turn to the right or to the left until we have passed through your territory.
16But if they say to you, 'I will not leave you,' because they love you and your household and are well off with you,
3Then they said, "The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please, let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God, or he may strike us with plague or with the sword."
10Jacob said, 'No, please, if I have found favor in your eyes, accept this gift from me. Seeing your face is like seeing the face of God, now that you have accepted me.'
5The LORD answered Moses, "Go ahead of the people and take some of the elders of Israel with you. Take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go."
11So Moses said to the LORD, 'Why have You brought trouble on Your servant? Why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You lay the burden of all these people on me?
16The LORD said to Moses, 'Behold, you are going to rest with your ancestors, and this people will rise up and prostitute themselves to the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake me and break the covenant I made with them.'
