    19And when you ask, 'Why has the Lord our God done all these things to us?' you are to tell them, 'As you have forsaken Me and served foreign gods in your own land, so now you will serve foreigners in a land that is not your own.'

    20Declare this to the house of Jacob and proclaim it in Judah, saying:

  • 30be careful that you are not ensnared by following them after they have been destroyed before you. Do not inquire about their gods, asking, 'How did these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.'

  • 5You burn with lust among the oaks, under every green tree; you slaughter children in the valleys, under crags of the cliffs.

  • 18To whom, then, will you compare God? What image can you find to resemble Him?
