  • 13No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But with the temptation, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

  • 23Let us hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

  • 15The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First, He says:

  • 1Therefore, let us be cautious lest any of you seem to have fallen short of the promise of entering His rest.

  • 1Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as we were shown mercy, we do not lose heart.

  • 1My dear children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

  • 11Let us then make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall into the same example of disobedience.

  • 1Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, completing holiness in the fear of God.

  • 11Every priest stands daily ministering and offering the same sacrifices time after time, which can never take away sins.
