22 The Israelites, the entire community, set out from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor.
23 At Mount Hor, near the border of Edom, the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
12 Isn't this what we told you in Egypt, saying, 'Leave us alone so we can serve the Egyptians'? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.
8 So we passed by our relatives, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir, and we turned from the road through the Arabah, bypassing Elath and Ezion-geber. Then we moved on and journeyed along the wilderness road of Moab.
16 You saw their detestable things and idols made of wood, stone, silver, and gold that were among them.
8 Moses told his father-in-law about everything the LORD had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for the sake of Israel, all the hardships they had faced along the way, and how the LORD had delivered them.
13 But Moses said to the LORD, "The Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them.
6 Israel said, “Why did you bring this trouble on me by telling the man that you had another brother?”
19 Then we set out from Horeb and went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which you saw, on the way to the hill country of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us. And we came to Kadesh-barnea.

27 You grumbled in your tents and said, 'Because the LORD hates us, He brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us.'
6 But the Egyptians mistreated us, oppressed us, and subjected us to harsh labor.
9 Moses reported this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their discouragement and harsh slavery.
10 Then the LORD said to Moses,
3 When Jacob saw them, he said, 'This is God's camp.' So he named that place Mahanaim (Two Camps).
39 When Moses relayed these words to all the Israelites, the people mourned greatly.
15 Moses spoke to the LORD, saying:
13 These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the LORD and where he showed himself holy among them.
2 All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole community said to them, "If only we had died in Egypt or in this wilderness!
4 Why have you brought the LORD's assembly into this wilderness, for us and our livestock to die here?

29 Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law: "We are setting out for the place about which the LORD said, 'I will give it to you.' Come with us, and we will treat you well, for the LORD has promised good things for Israel."
4 And he commanded the people, saying, ‘You are about to pass through the territory of your relatives, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, so be very careful.
2 So the people quarreled with Moses, saying, "Give us water to drink." Moses replied to them, "Why are you quarreling with me? Why are you testing the LORD?"
3 But the people were very thirsty for water there, and they complained against Moses, saying, "Why did you bring us out of Egypt to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?"
40 But as for you, turn around and set out for the wilderness by way of the Red Sea.
