  • 6For if I desire to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone think more of me than what they see in me or hear from me.

  • 11Whether then it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.

  • 11See what earnestness this godly sorrow has produced in you! What eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what readiness to see justice done! At every point you have proved yourselves to be pure in this matter.
