    12And it will happen that because you listen to these ordinances, and keep and obey them, the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the steadfast love that He swore to your ancestors.

    1Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

    2Set apart to me every firstborn, the first male offspring of every womb among the Israelites, whether human or animal; it belongs to me.

  • 8See, I have set the land before you. Go and take possession of the land that the LORD swore to give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and to their descendants after them.

  • 17Gather all the spoil of that city into its public square and burn the city and all its plunder as a complete offering to the LORD your God. It must remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt.

  • 26Bring the best of the firstfruits of your land to the house of the LORD your God. Do not cook a young goat in its mother's milk.

  • 42Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I bring you into the land of Israel, the land I swore with uplifted hand to give to your ancestors.
