32Stand up in the presence of the elderly, show respect for the aged, and fear your God. I am the LORD.

15For the day of the LORD is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.
13The Lord says: 'These people come near to me with their mouths and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their reverence for me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.'
9therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD.
15The LORD said to me, 'Take again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.
10For the LORD has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has shut your eyes—the prophets; He has covered your heads—the seers.
3Beware of your neighbor; do not trust even a brother. Every brother utterly deceives, and every friend spreads slander.
