  • 20Look, LORD, and consider: Whom have you ever treated like this? Should women eat their own children, the little ones they have cherished? Should priest and prophet be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord?

  • 18I will first repay them double for their iniquity and their sin, because they have defiled My land with the lifeless forms of their vile images and have filled My inheritance with their abominations.

  • 7I said, ‘Surely you will fear me; you will accept discipline.’ Then her dwelling would not be destroyed, despite all that I have appointed against her. But they arose early and corrupted all their deeds.
