    2Aaron said to them, "Take off the gold earrings that are on the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me."

    3So all the people took off the gold earrings that were in their ears and brought them to Aaron.

    4He took the gold from their hands, fashioned it with a tool, and made it into a molten calf. Then they said, "These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt."

    26Even our livestock must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use them to worship the LORD our God. And until we arrive there, we will not know what we are to use to worship the LORD."

    26Then Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD.

    27And the LORD did as Moses asked: He removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, his officials, and his people; not a single fly remained.

  • 13But Moses said to the LORD, "The Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them.

  • 26Therefore the LORD’s anger burned against this land, bringing upon it every curse written in this book.

  • 36This is the one who led them out, performing wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, at the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years.

  • 4Why have you brought the LORD's assembly into this wilderness, for us and our livestock to die here?

  • 3Then they said, "The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please, let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God, or he may strike us with plague or with the sword."

  • 6Why do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When he dealt severely with them, didn’t they let the Israelites go, and they departed?
