The weakest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going before them. 9 On that day, I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on Me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

  • 3 Then a mighty king will arise, and he will rule with great authority and do as he pleases.

  • 12 The prince who is among them will shoulder his belongings and leave in the darkness. They will dig through the wall to bring him out. He will cover his face so that he cannot see the land.

  • 7 At that time, gifts will be brought to the LORD of Hosts from a people tall and smooth-skinned, a people feared far and wide, a mighty and conquering nation divided by rivers, to the place of the name of the LORD of Hosts, to Mount Zion.
