18Your own way and your deeds have caused this to you; this is your calamity. How bitter it is! It has reached your very heart.
5Then it took some of the seed of the land and planted it in fertile soil, placing it by abundant waters like a willow.
6The plant sprouted and became a low, spreading vine, with its branches facing the eagle and its roots growing beneath it. So it became a vine, produced branches, and sent out leaves.

12This is what the Lord says: 'Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be destroyed and pass away. Although I have afflicted you, Judah, I will afflict you no more.'
20So then, you will recognize them by their fruits.
10Many shepherds have ruined my vineyard; they have trampled my portion underfoot. They have turned my pleasant field into a desolate wasteland.
7The words of the LORD are pure, like silver refined in a crucible on the ground, purified seven times.
