22You continued to provoke the LORD to anger at Taberah, at Massah, and at Kibroth Hattaavah.

15Moses spoke to the LORD, saying:
3So that place was named Taberah, because the fire of the LORD had burned among them.
51This is because you acted unfaithfully toward Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not honor Me as holy among the Israelites.
16Do not test the LORD your God as you did at Massah.
23When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. That is why the place is called Marah.
24So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, 'What are we to drink?'
25Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them.
10But the whole assembly talked about stoning them. Then the glory of the LORD appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites.
11The LORD said to Moses, "How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, despite all the signs I have performed among them?
32By the waters of Meribah, they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them;
2The entire assembly of the Israelites complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.
26Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
27How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of the Israelites, who are murmuring against me.
7I removed the burden from his shoulder; his hands were freed from the basket.
27You grumbled in your tents and said, 'Because the LORD hates us, He brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us.'
8Then Amalek came and fought with Israel at Rephidim.
7The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
8"Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to the rock in front of them, and it will yield its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community and their livestock to drink."
2There was no water for the community, so they gathered together against Moses and Aaron.
40How often they provoked Him in the wilderness and grieved Him in the wasteland!
17And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

24"Aaron will be gathered to his people. He will not enter the land I am giving to the Israelites, because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.

8do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, as on the day at Massah in the wilderness,
7Remember and do not forget how you provoked the LORD your God to anger in the wilderness. From the day you left the land of Egypt until you arrived at this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD.
8Even at Horeb, you provoked the LORD to anger, and the LORD was angry enough with you to destroy you.
