35I, the LORD, have spoken. I will surely do this to this entire wicked community who conspired against me; they will meet their end in this wilderness, and here they will die.
36The men whom Moses had sent to explore the land, and who returned and caused the whole assembly to complain by spreading a bad report about the land—
17And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

56But they tested and rebelled against God Most High and did not keep His decrees.

41But Moses said, 'Why are you disobeying the LORD's command? This will not succeed.
11For all the signs and wonders the Lord sent him to perform in the land of Egypt, against Pharaoh, all his officials, and all his land,
