    24But if a righteous person turns away from their righteousness and commits sin, doing the same detestable things the wicked do, will they live? None of the righteous deeds they have done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.

    5This is what the LORD says: ‘What fault did your ancestors find in me that they strayed so far from me? They pursued worthless idols and became worthless themselves.
