  • 31 You people of this generation, consider the word of the LORD: ‘Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of deep darkness? Why do my people say, “We are free to roam; we will come to you no more”?’

  • 20 Declare this to the house of Jacob and proclaim it in Judah, saying:

  • 4 Why have you brought the LORD's assembly into this wilderness, for us and our livestock to die here?

  • 2 Remember the entire journey the Lord your God has led you on these forty years in the wilderness, to humble and test you in order to know what is in your heart—whether or not you would keep His commandments.

  • 6 You, LORD my God, have done many wonderful works, and Your plans are beyond comparison. If I tried to declare and speak of them, they are too numerous to count.

  • 5 For I have not lived in a house from the day I brought Israel out until this very day. I have moved from tent to tent and from tabernacle to tabernacle.
