20 If you died with Christ to the elemental principles of the world, why, as though still living in the world, do you submit to its decrees?
17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
4 Though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks they have grounds for confidence in the flesh, I have more:
29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him,
30 since you are experiencing the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.
21 Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Him.
13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
20 But that is not the way you learned Christ,
17 Did I take advantage of you through any of those I sent to you?
13 Therefore, I ask you not to lose heart over my sufferings for you, which are for your glory.
29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless, and so is your faith.
