  • 30 For the people of Judah have done evil in my sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my name to defile it.

  • 17 The LORD of Hosts, who planted you, has pronounced disaster against you because of the evil that the house of Israel and the house of Judah have done to provoke me by burning incense to Baal.

  • 32 I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Lord GOD. Be ashamed and humiliated for your conduct, O house of Israel!

  • 7 Perhaps they will bring their plea before the LORD, and each one will turn from his wicked way, for great are the anger and wrath that the LORD has pronounced against this people.

  • 9 I will raise weeping and wailing for the mountains and a dirge for the pastures in the wilderness, because they are burned up and desolate; no one passes through, and cattle cannot be heard anymore—birds of the sky and animals alike have fled and are gone.

  • 27 In His anger and great wrath, the LORD uprooted them from their land and cast them into another land, as it is today.

  • 17 On that day, my anger will burn against them, and I will abandon them and hide my face from them, and they will be consumed. Many disasters and calamities will come upon them, and on that day they will say, 'Have not these disasters come upon us because our God is not with us?'
