5Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Surely in my burning zeal I have spoken against the remnants of the nations and against Edom, who with glee and utter contempt claimed my land as their own possession, plundering its pasturelands.
7then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them, and I will reject this temple I have consecrated for My name. Israel will then become a proverb and an object of ridicule among all peoples.
18Then the LORD became jealous for his land and had pity on his people.

26And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’
10That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said, 'Their hearts are always wandering, and they have not known my ways.'

21Therefore, when the Lord heard this, He became furious; a fire was kindled against Jacob, and His anger rose against Israel.
6Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge You, on the kingdoms that do not call on Your name.
10Because you said, 'These two nations and countries will be ours, and we will take possession of them,' even though the LORD was there,
25So He poured out on them His burning anger and the violence of war. It enveloped them in flames, yet they did not understand; it consumed them, yet they did not take it to heart.
